Just finished your book. I really enjoyed it. It scared me to death at times and made me cry, but I'm excited for you and your future. Romans 8:28

  10. Hey skipper,
started to re-read Unsinkable & as I do with the War Between the States history, maybe you'll make it this time? When you visit you'll find your book on our coffee table and we're proud to keep it there. Gives a little class to the old place all our good wishes go with you ""{Thank God it's Friday? (5/21/10) - Leaving port on Friday is poor form in the mind of the well traveled sailor. The superstition is thought to spring from the crucifixion of Christ on Good Friday. Doubters would believe the career mariner would like an extra day in port. Legend says the British Navy fought this superstition to the point that they laid the keel of a warship on a Friday, launched the vessel on another Friday, named the craft HMS Friday and sailed it out of port for the first time on Friday. As you should suspect,it never made it back to the harbor again.}"" we are thinkinbg about you Skipper Abby... as much as ever...

  17. I followed Zac's journey and I followed yours through your blog.

I just finished reading your book and it caused me to go back into your blog to read the entries associated with the problems you had. This blog is really well organized. I am very impressed with it.

I enjoyed the book so much that I have ordered the DVD and am looking forward to having it put the icing on the cake for your incredible journey.

I still follow your blog through an RSS link and look forward to following your adventures. I do hope you continue to update your blog.

  18. Hi Abby,
I was thinking that it was just about one year ago exactly that we heard the terrible news that Wild Eyes had been hit by a rogue wave and that you were waiting for rescue. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now, but I'm thinking of you!!!! You've done SO well since that scary time and I'm sure you're still missing Wild Eyes and your life on her. Keep updating us on all your new adventures and travels across the country!! And 1st Happy Birthday very soon to your baby brother!!
